The question you pose at the end... am I asking the provocative questions is one I'll take with me into my work tomorrow and, I hope, for the rest of the year!! It reminds me of what I recently read in an article..."Growth cannot be found in our comfort zone." It is the only way to move forward. It might be easier to step back, go through the motions and talk/work on a surface level, but unless we dig deep, learning does not occur. This was a wonderful reminder of that! @AffinitoLitStephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02575907849285378665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4385158334023908497.post-88414083318163446682015-10-07T09:04:49.225-07:002015-10-07T09:04:49.225-07:00What a thoughtful post. So glad you had the opportunity to learn from her.

Cognitive dissonance is important in the learning process - and yes, at times makes our brain hurt! I love the questions you posed for yourself as you continue working with teachers. It is important for all learners to push ourselves, rather than just relearn/reconfirm things that are comfortable. Creating cognitive dissonance can come both in our professional and personal lives.

Thanks for bringing this to all of us to ponder!

@kathyperret Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08121875178393860527noreply@blogger.com
